Employee and Human Rights Policy

KIRMAN PREMIUM employs individuals from diverse cultures, experiences, and backgrounds. We conduct recruitment processes based on job requirements and personal qualifications, without regard to race, religion, nationality, gender, age, marital status, or disability.

In alignment with the conventions and recommendations of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the UN Global Compact, we uphold a zero-tolerance policy against slavery and human trafficking, and we expect the same commitment from all our business partners. We are committed to equal opportunities and make decisions regarding recruitment, placement, development, training, compensation, and promotion based on an employee’s qualifications, performance, skills, and experience. This policy is available in Turkish, English, German, and Russian. It is essential that this policy be communicated to all stakeholders, including employees and the public. Nothing in this policy supersedes the employment contract between KIRMAN PREMIUM and its employees. Participation in this program does not guarantee the continuation of the employment relationship between KIRMAN PREMIUM and the employee.

 

Child Rights Policy

Children's rights are universal. The official and moral rights of all children around the world include, for example, the right to education, health, housing, and protection from physical, psychological, or sexual exploitation. We believe that every child plays an important role everywhere in the world. We recognize that there are many different ways to care for and protect children, and we strive to do so in a culturally sensitive and context-appropriate manner. We do not discriminate in any way, including on the basis of age, gender, language, religion, opinion, nationality, ethnic or social origin, sexual orientation, or other personal characteristics. We are committed to fulfilling our responsibilities in caring for children and will take action if a child is found to be at risk. We provide KIRMAN PREMIUM employees with training and support on our child protection policy and on identifying, preventing, and responding to child abuse, ensuring they are equipped to handle child protection risks and incidents appropriately when necessary. We recognize that every child is a complete human being, with unique needs and developing abilities. Aware that all children are special, we treat them according to their individual needs and capacities. We understand that children can only participate in activities if they wish to do so. We strive to ensure that children are engaged in meaningful activities that are suitable for their age and maturity level. When working with children, we model positive behaviour and are mindful of their potential. We act in accordance with principles of gender equality.

Sustainable purchasing policy

We recognize that the long-term, sustainable development of our suppliers is crucial for our mutual success. We value relationships with suppliers who share a similar approach and vision when working together. Our goal is to foster mutual understanding with our suppliers and support sustainable procurement practices.

As part of our commitment to sustainable development, we require that any conflicts of interest arising in the professional relationships of our suppliers and business partners be reported to us, so we can take appropriate measures. KIRMAN PREMIUM does not accept or offer illegal payments, donations, bribes, gifts, or any other improper payments intended to create favouritism. Suppliers must protect KIRMAN PREMIUM’s intellectual property, trade secrets, and other proprietary, restrictive, or sensitive data. The information provided by KIRMAN PREMIUM may only be used for the purposes specified and agreed upon by KIRMAN PREMIUM and the supplier. Suppliers must ensure that their recruitment processes are non-discriminatory and do not consider factors such as race, color, gender, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, or similar characteristics. We expect our suppliers to comply with applicable regulations and industry standards regarding minimum wage, overtime pay, working hours, and breaks, and to adhere to all laws in the countries where they operate. 

We are committed to working with domestic and local suppliers who contribute to the development and economy of the Mediterranean region where we are based. We prioritize business partners who share and implement these values. Together with our suppliers, we strive to create efficient purchasing opportunities and reduce the environmental impact of our supply processes

 

KIRMAN PREMIUM ENERGY POLICY

We are committed to reducing energy costs by consistently complying with legal requirements and adapting our practices to incorporate energy-efficient technologies with low operating costs. We protect energy resources and the environment by separating recyclable waste and properly managing other waste. We set specific goals and targets to improve the efficiency and performance of our energy management system, continuously adapting and enhancing all processes. To achieve these goals, we provide the necessary information and resources, regularly review and improve the effectiveness of our energy management system in accordance with national and international standards, and train our employees in energy saving and efficiency by staying up-to-date with technological developments and innovations. By purchasing energy-efficient products and services, we use energy and materials efficiently, contributing to sustainable production practices. We strive to support our stakeholders by providing the necessary information and raising awareness about the efficient use of energy, in line with our energy policy. As KIRMAN PREMIUM, we are committed to conducting our activities in full compliance with national and international laws and regulations, within the framework of an energy management system based on continuous development, and by providing the necessary resources.

Environmental Protection and Waste Management Policy

While we continue to use resources as part of our forward-thinking sustainability approach, we recognize the importance of protecting them to ensure their availability for future generations. We place great emphasis on minimizing or avoiding waste through integrated management systems and our Zero Waste initiative. We communicate our strategies openly with both employees and guests.

To raise environmental awareness, we display information about saving energy, conserving water, and reducing waste in both guest rooms and common areas. We separate waste and encourage our guests to participate in this effort. Waste is collected in designated areas and sent to regional authorities and licensed companies for further processing. Contaminated and hazardous waste is collected in separate rooms, sorted, and sent to specialized companies for proper disposal. We ensure the regular collection and disposal of used oils and pulp through our contracted service provider. We always comply with legal requirements and achieve our responsibilities. We measure and monitor our environmental performance, set targets, and continuously strive to improve. We adhere to the ISO 14001 environmental management standard, which helps enhance our environmental performance, improve our image in society, facilitate legal compliance, and promote environmental awareness.

 

Gender Equality and Women's Rights Policy

We are committed to upholding a positive framework that aligns with international standards for gender equality. All genders are treated equally in our recruitment processes.

Our female employees are entitled to a total of 16 weeks of statutory leave before and after childbirth. Additionally, we offer unpaid leave upon request. In our organization, we assess practices such as rewards and promotions based solely on merit, without any distinction between men and women. We treat every employee equally, regardless of factors such as ethnic identity, race, language, religion, political opinion, private life, or sexual orientation. We place great importance on increasing women's employment, ensuring gender equality, and providing equal opportunities for women to play an active role in shaping a modern and successful future. We also advocate for the reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions as part of our sustainability efforts.
